woke up after my afternoon nap thinking it was morning and wanting to sleep some more hehe my mother woke me up. she was looking after the kids for the afternoon and she said “it’s 4:35, time to get up!” but i heard “it’s 7:35…..” trying to shake up to wake up or fall back asleep, not too sure, then i replied… you’re here, why can’t i sleep some more this morning? “no, no, it’s not morning, it’s 4:37 or so” Oh! that was quite a loop hehe
this morning our cat Misty brought a mouse to our front steps. i only saw it for 30 seconds, because she decided to gobble the whole thing. i was a little shocked but it’s what’s best for her, just as nature intended.
i also made arrangements so the missing chalkboard part would be shipped to me. hoping it will be here by friday 
still looking around for some fire wood, we usually look for 8′ lenghts but it’s getting hard to find and it’s getting late for dear hubby to take vacation before the end of the summer now. so it look like we’re going to go with cut and split this time around.

having realized that i didn’t have the traditional candles to put on the cake was in a way a blessing for her, because she ended up having cherries to go with her cake
